An ATC Ambassador is a military veteran or national service alum who is excited about promoting ATC amongst the service veteran community.

Become A Local ATC Ambassador

Each ATC City will have at least two Ambassadors:

  • One who is focused on engaging the local military veteran community and

  • One who is focused on engaging the local civilian service alumni community.

If there are additional Ambassadors willing to contribute to this work, that is great!

In general, the Ambassador team is responsible for recruiting and enrolling at least 15 participants in their local Answering the Call program.

Each Ambassador is required to:

  • Make a four month commitment (July 2018 - December 2018)
  • Participate in an initial 90-minute virtual orientation session with NPA HQ
  • Dedicate the time needed to recruit 3-5 servant leaders for ATC by mobilizing the local service veteran community
  • Run in-person one informational session
  • Run one informational session via conference call
  • Plan a local post-ATC graduation happy hour
  • Recruit a replacement for the next six month campaign (if necessary)

In larger cities (for example: New York, Boston, Chicago, and D.C.), we plan to run two or three ATC programs, and we will recruit four to six Ambassadors in those cities where we’ll need to recruit a total of 30-45 participants.

Become A National ATC Ambassador

In addition to running local in-person programs, we also offer Answering the Call online to engage servant leaders in cities that don’t have local programs. Our National ATC Ambassadors are military veterans or national service alumni who are plugged into national networks, and who are excited about promoting participation in our online programming via those networks.

Collectively, the National Ambassador team is responsible for recruiting and enrolling at least 3-5 participants for the three or four online ATC programs.

National Ambassadors are required to:

  • Make a four month commitment (July 2018- Dec 2018)
  • Participate in an initial 90-min virtual orientation session with NPA HQ
  • Spend the time necessary (at least one hour a week) to mobilize the local servant leader network
  • Participate in a monthly one-hour meeting with the national team
  • Recruit a replacement for the next six month campaign (if necessary)
