Biography
John is a Program Manager at the Joint Personnel Recovery Agency’s (JPRA) Personnel Recovery Academy (PRA) in Spokane, WA. John retired from Air Force after 22 years of active duty, the last four as the Senior Enlisted Advisor to the PRA Commandant. After retiring from active duty, John became a contractor supporting the PRA, followed by his current role as an Air Force civilian. In 2015 John volunteered for a four-month assignment to Afghanistan as the Personnel Recovery subject matter expert for Operation RESOLUTE SUPPORT. John has facilitated two previous ATCs and other NPLA groups. John is a certified Goleman Emotional Intelligence Coach, a certified Culture Facilitator, and was a Teaching Fellow for the True North leadership program at 1440 Multiversity. John has an MA in Management and Leadership and a BS in Social Psychology. John and his wife Ruth have three adult children and five grandchildren.
