Kaela Buenaventura

Programs Associate

As Program Associate, Kaela Buenaventura (she/they) supports the Programs department at New Politics Leadership Academy by providing administrative support and managing program databases. Prior to joining NPLA, she worked for various nonprofit and government organizations. Her experience includes working as an Economist for the Bureau of Labor Statistics and serving as a Teach for America corps member in New York.

Kaela has a B.A. in Economics and International Relations from the University of California, Davis. She currently resides in Los Angeles, CA.
